Well- he's on his way. After many months of planning, this much anticipated trip has finally taken off.
Corky was said to be "thrilled" to have the chance, after all these years, to meet his biggest fan base on the other side of the Atlantic.
The pilot, being a big fan, was only too happy to grant him his only request- to be Chief Look-Out. "Ates a very important job and arm so excited. Theyst'ave to concentrate very hard" said Corky just before take-off, adding "Spotting land conner bay easy at 36 thigh sand fate but arm up for the challenge. Are hope I dunner let anyone dine."
Meanwhile, in Orlando, Florida, preparations were well under way. "We are now on full alert. We don't know what to expect so we're not taking any chances" a security spokesman said. It is difficult to judge what the reaction will be when Corky arrives but the authorities seem to have all bases covered for a smooth visit.
